The Baloch tribes from Balochistan and Makran, lots of whom nevertheless inhabit sections of Sindh, recognized a small settlement of fishing communities in the region and called it Kolachi. In accordance with legend, the current city started as a fishing settlement where a Sindhi fisherwoman via the title of Mai Kolachi took up home and began a fam
